I finished this gem of a kit last weekend and posted the pictures to my Google Photo Site.

The kit is Tamiya with some Eduard PE and Blast resin accents. I replaced the machine guns with Dragon and Academy parts.

Mark-- very nice work. What paints did you use and how did you apply the weathering. I like it.

Thanks DJ,

I use Tamiya and Testor acrylics - dark green base coat and lighter over spray with Khaki Drab. The weathering starts with Burnt Umber oil wash overall and Tamiya pastels for faded paint and markings look.

I am 110% sold on Tamiya pastels. I hope they come out with other colors soon. All my vehicles are starting to look the same.

I am still working up the courage to browse the mascara isle to find other colors myself. After all, this product is a type of cosmetic.

Hi Mark,

This has come out great! THe weathering is excellent too, I will have to try out the Tamiya pastels

Not to noticeable but the tracks do look a bit floaty, maybe you can adjust your wiring a bit?

Thanks,
Phil.

Yes, the tracks are the only REAL challenge in this kit. They fit loose and want to hold a round shape. I have the M21, and will try the boiling water technique to try and form them.

Thanks for the comments.
