Which USMC LAV units had sand painted vehs and which had the tri-colour scheme?

Most of the vehicles in 1st LAR were in the tri-color scheme, I recall a couple of AD variants in sand color. IIRC the AD variants came off the MPS ships.

Hello All,
Color schemes depended largely on these factors:
1. Vehicles shipped from home stations tended to be all one color scheme.
2. Vehicles drawn from MPS (Maritime Pre-Positioning Ships). Each MPS squadron had a designated area of operations and the vehicles on board had corresponding colors for that AO.
3. During OIF equipment came from home stations and all of the MPS Squadrons. Giving you a large mix of colors.
