Hey,
In ine with my post on Australian M1A1s, is there a conversion for an ASLAV Personel carrier with the Australian Army out there? Or a conversion for the Australian guncar?
Thankyou
Will

Hi Will
You can check out Mouse House Enterprises website for some ASLAV-related stuff (the APC variant is in the pipeline...) :

Looks good, but jeez thats expensive for what you get. Then they tell you have to buy two other sets for an Iraq vehicle, as well as another tyre which only comes in a set of 9 to put in the spare wheel carrier.

To make an Australian ASLAV 25 as used in Iraq yes you need the basic conversion set, plus Platt mount and the spare wheel carrier (if your model needs it - not every vehicle carried a spare on the back).
The only tyres on the market that we sell are the Maple Leaf Models set of 9. I checked the web for XML resin tyres and the price ranges from $60-65.00AUD for 8 plus overseas postage - so ours are cheaper
Now Trumpeter does a set of 8 XML tyres with USMC SLEP hubs (why would they make them with Australian hubs??????). We have now produced a set of Australian hubs to fit the trumpeter tyres which more than halves the price of resin tyres. If you want resin tyres from Maple Leaf we are currently giving a 20% discount as well
