I just noticed on the Squadron site that they have re-released the "In Action" titles for the Abrams and Bradley. Of course they had to do this after I picked up the Bradley In Action off of ebay!

The Abrams book is a pre-Gulf War book and has been surpassed by other more up-to-date references. The Bradley book is post-Gulf War IIRC. I have most of the Squadron Signal in action books (all but the first 6 armor books and one or two others that didn't interest me), and the one thing they have in common is just when they start going for big bucks on Ebay, Squadron reissues them. I remember when they raised the price from $4.95 to $5.95. It was about the time they stopped printing the price on the cover.

They are neat and handy references, but are far from gospel.

I have an extra AH-64 Apache in action cheap if anyone wants one.

Thanks for the advise. Do you have any recommendations for a good book on the Abrams? I am working on a Tamiya M1A1 right now (Desert Storm era) and always like to build the library up. I am currently looking for Desert Storm armor titles. Any comments on the Squadron title "Ground War Desert Storm" by Jim Mesko or those from Concord?
