Okay - I know - choppers are between aircraft and armor in the hearts of most. Ran across this link today announcing some upcoming (and premium priced) helicopters in 1:35th scale! How's the MH-53 Pave Low IV, CH-46E, or a CH-53E strike you!?!

That's gonna be a lot of model...

Gunnie

$200 USD is more than premium priced... it's bloody lunatic! I realize that we're talking limited run, resin, photo-etch... but still, wow.

1/35 Pave Low, wow, however, spending $200 on a kit is rather difficult to justify, not for me you understand, oh no, it's just that a divorce would be more expensive in the long run. However if I win the lottery, then I might just send my credit card details and reserve one....Although it has to be said that for that amount of resin compared to some of the tank and vehicle kits out there, it is not too bad........Jim

Jimbrae,
You know why divorces are so expensive?
Because they are worth it....

Hope the same can be said of these kits. My current wife has promised never to divorce me, she is going to kill me in my sleep.

Don't judge me. I just reserved this kit. I had wanted an MH53J for like forever!!!!

I know I can no longer call myself an exclusive German Armor Builder anymore. Damn!!!! Damn you Ladymodelbuilder, Twistedfate, Holdfast, and Warlock!!!!

Hey Guys,

You know this means that a plastic one is sure to come down the pipeline now...

anyhow, I guess the anticipation of the CH-47 from Panda, or the Mi-8 from Trumpeter is too much?

Jauques:
Yeah, about the time the kit shows up on the door step. But looking at the prices of some of the new Trumpeter kits, I would bet an MH-53 in styrene would still be $110-130.
When is that Hind coming out anyway?

Hueys from panda are around the $20 dollar mark, although my guess is that by the time lumps of resin, photo-etch and other bits are added its gonna get expensive........Love the idea of a 1/35 chinook though............................................Jim #:-)
