I'm looking for some color and camouflage information on British/Commonwealth armored cars as they appeared in the Italian Campaigns in WWII. What I really need are teh basic colors used and any info on the camouflage schemes that may have been used. Any help would be appreciated. Traveller 1, here a few pics of my Daimler Mk II Dingo.
The vehicle was abandoned by british troops at the Milan's central Station during 1945. From that very day to 1997 it "slept" there. One day a friend of mine working there called me saying that he had a present for me. I went there and I got it. It has not been touched, apart for the application of a brass plate on the front which states that it belongs to me and that I've "lended" it to an Italian Cavalry Regiment for display. I think that colour and markings are original.
Ciao

Hey scoccia
Nice toy!
It's amazingly well preserved for an item left sitting there for almost 60 years.
That green is awfully dark compared to colors I've seen suggested!!
Any way to get some interior photos? I have the Tamiya kit, and I'd love to give it a decent interior.
Cheers
Andy
