A while back when building the panzer IV D dio, I commented on the size of Miniart figures. Its not even so much their size, its the sheer bulk of these little fellows thats quickly becomes noticeable, especailly when I had several Tristar figures in the same scene.
Yesterday I built the commander figure, from set 35021 - German Tank Crew. Winter 1943-45, (see HERE for a review of the set) and came across this problem again. Even worse, this guy is supposed to fit in a standard Pz.Kpfw III/IV turret, as Im pretty sure, most who will buy this set, have planned for.
It is possible to paint him in two halves, and join him in the turret, where the bottom half is placed from the turret bottom, but I decided to file down the lower half of his reversable parka jacket, so he could be fully built and placed whole, through the turret opening.
I also tried both Hornet and Legends heads, but they looked like peanuts on top, so went with the kit head. Good enough facial details and IŽll be covering the ears with some headphones anyway.
Just some heads up for those interested. IŽll be posting some images later.

Thanks for the heads up Frank.
I was actually thinking of using the Commander figure (he looks like he yelling directions) from their SPG Crew set (#35008) for my E-10 build. But the E-10 has small hatches - I wonder if he would even fit?
