A long, long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...I bought this kit, in an eBay auction:

...and I think put togheter with Tamiya´s M4...

In scene, the old Tamiya M4, to cary this unusual apparatus:

The new "old" kit:

and the "bagunça"....(mess, in plain Portuguese..)
Since I had two Tamiya´s M4 in the shelf, I go build the two...with little differences:

The M4 Aunt Jemima w´ll be the mid version, but with straight arms roller bogies. The Tamiya´s kit have the bogies with raised arms...

So, I changed the Tamiya´s bogies by Academy M4A2 bogies...and the M4A2 russian Shermie used the raised arms ...and anothe M4 to my workbench...What a mess !!!

Cutting the pins to glue the Academy´s bogies in the Tamiya´s hull:

I've completed building mine (mated to the DML M4A1 75mm gun tank). It is fun but complex. From all photos I've seen, the T1E3s with M4s used the Baldwin manufactured M4s -- characterized by a vertical rear bulkhead. (the diagram you posted showing the rear push plate to be slanted is incorrect). For the Tamiya kit, this shouldn't be that difficult to alter. Contact me off site if you need more references for this.

Also, the VP kit omits a set of teeth that are mounted which help scrape away mud. This is missing from your diagram too. It's not difficult to add these teeth.

Well...

After the pictures and tips from Roy Chow, I make a surgery in the rear of my tamiya´s m4:

Dremel + stell disc and lots of care...

and the Baldwins´tail:

Up-grades in the Verlinden mineroller:

Painting:

and the rear bulkhead:

Painting the mine device:

A dry-run:

and glued with superglue:

Next step: weathering...

This is the best work I've seen with this conversion in a long time.

To tell the truth, I've seen dozens of poorly built Aunt Jemima conversions, and only a couple worth a second look. Nice work, Marcos!

Well, the saga continues...

I was not satisfied with the position of the armour plates in the back and I made a small repair....

The junction between the armour and the rear fender was wrong

But, some detais: making cargo in the rear of the tank :
Packs in polyester, casting by myself... Paint no required..the canvas w´ll hide the details:

Very awesome, makes me want to try one. great to see the dozer and the roller together, is that the verlinden resin blade on the dozer?. Another question for you, who makes the Tanker standing on the fender of the dozer m4a1? looks familiar and I'd love to get my hands on one. Good job on both of these!

And I thought the varieties of German armor were a P.I.T.A., I don't think any other tank in the world has as many varients as the sherman. Nice job!!!
