Hi guys , just a quick post to show u how im doing on this model and to get some feed back.
The model is now assembled ,just the paint to go. I decided to make a base for it to sit on.
Any advice and feed back would be good.

Hi Andrew. To be honest, with the size of the photos and a black kit, its almost impossible to see any details. Feedback is therefore impossibe.
What kit is it? Those front wheels look very thin at that angle!

Andrew -
Will agree with Frank, tough to see any details on your build. Like the idea of the 251 towing an artillery piece. Personally think your base could be bigger, looks to be a little small for the half-track and gun, but your base came out great!
Thanks for sharing, look forward to your progress. Cheers!

Hi Andrew
The base looks great and I love seeing halftracks towing things. Any figures for this one??

It looks like you might have some seams on your tires.

hi ryally
There are no figures with the kit but i plan to get this for it http://www.emodels.co.uk/plastic-kits/images/DN6193.jpg?osCsid=206sln3lfkfco65vcmpmf3ns15
im also toying with the idea of putting a tarp over the top of the half track but time will tell.
I found this pic
so i have painted the cabin area the same but im not 100% happy with it.
This is the type im going to finish it as, color wise.
These rwo pics are not 251/1's they are OT-810's amde in the 50's

Andrew -
Looking pretty good, great progress since your initial pictures in black. Like the shade of your gray, came out well. Agree with you on the pigment color, looks like a red clay type was used, may be a little out of place in Europe. Curious as to your choice of interior colors, from what can be seen you have two colors, one a yellow in the forward cab area and the gray in the rear fighting compartment area. Why the different colors?
Overall a fantastic build, looks great towing the artillery piece. Thanks again for sharing your work! Keep at it!
Cheers -
