hello in cyber space.
For my next major build I plan to build an Hobby fan M936A2 conversion.
This will be my first major attempt at a major resin conversion. So al of you good folks out there that have advise and/or hint by all means post them. I am seeking resin building advise in general, as well as any tips that are geared for this specifc set.

Good luck. We have several softskin experts on this site that will be able to guide you in your endeavors. I have a few of the trucks on hand, both NATO green and desert tan. Some of them are photographed and on display in the Major Rob's Motor Pool gallery (click on "gallery" and follow the links to my album).

Don't forget to wear a mask when you are sanding the parts. Use a razor saw to trim the parts as resin can be a little brittle. and most important, dry fit the parts before applying the ca glue. Oh yea, have fun building.

Take time and care with the resin model - cutting away pour gates that is. Hobby Fan products are pretty precise (typically) when cast, so don't get over-anxious and sand away too much resin. It's always easier to test fit and remove a little at a time than to go back and try to add material.
