Here are some shots of the Tamiya Dragon Wagon that I am working on. Keep in mind that this is not done and I have many of the smaller details to install. I also have the trailer to finish as well. I just though it would be fun to post some in progress pics and see what you guys think.
I have put some pics of the diorama mock up that this model is being built for. They are posted in the diorama forum. I am looking forward to talking with you guys in the future, what a great site!

Being "production shots", looking great! You have handled the olive palette very well indeed. Looks heavy and dusty.
Good luck with the project!

DGeraths, first of all-welcome to the site! You've found the best armor site on the web!
Secondly...very nice! Those "in progress" shots look better than my finished shots...lol! I'm not sure if it's supposed to be dust or sun fading but the top of that cab is awesome!

Wow...... Great stuff there DG!!!
I never asked this before because I never knew quite how to word it; how do you do the uneven, but great looking paint job like there is on this here DW???? I mean it's all green, but it looks dirty and used. Key word: realistic .

Wow! and Wow! again...welcome to the best site for modeling in the world of Armor. You'll find the folks are great to get info from and bounce ideas off. I am anxious to get my DW into construction. Of those intrepid DW builders, how did you find the Tamiya instructions? I ask because I have that great article from MMiR ( asuper magazine and a half) on construction hints and wonder what should guide the effort more--the box instructions or MMiR. I am still fumbling with my M-8 HMC project. Seeing this quality work is truly inspirational. Whether it is imitatible is another question.
