Hi All
I would love a set of two 120mm Germans figures by S&T or Alpine figures kneeling with an MG42 on a tripod, a little like the Dragon or Tamiya1/35 set with bullets and all. Would anyone else like a 120mm set like this?

What do you mean? That you are going to buy them and we want one to?

Hi
Sorry if that wasn't clear. What I was trying to say/type was that I would like a company to make a pair of 120mm Germans kneeling with an MG42 on tripod. I was also wondering if anyone would buy the set if they were made or am I the only one interested in wanting this type of set to be made.

That would be really cool, as i have seen a photo of something like that. What i would like to see is a 1/16 scale sniper. Preferably a Wermacht sniper, but a US sniper would be cool.

Verlinden's got German WW2 snipers and a couple of machine-gunners too. They've also got an MG42 team but the weapon's on a bipod. You could scratch the tripod.
If you're looking for a plastic 1/16 MG42 team, Tamiya have two gunners and a loader (separate kits), though they are walking, not shooting. The loader (who's carrying the tripod) can be combined with a number of DML MG42 gunners too, though these are all standing figs as well.
Imperial Gallery has several 120mm resin machine-gunners (both MG34 and MG42), and modern British snipers.
Airborne Miniatures also has several 120mm resin German machine-gunners and a modern US sniper team.
If you're willing to scratch the scope, it's pretty easy to convert a standard WW2 fig into a sniper, since they didn't wear specialist uniforms, and the rifles were mostly standard battle issue.

Hi David
Thanks for the reply. I guess I am looking for something like the link given below to the Tamiya site of the kneeling germans. I only really want the two with the Mg 42 on the tri-pod but in 120mm and with the details the likes of Alpine minatures figures.

Well, if you're willing to to have a go at converting existing figures, you could probably do it.

My thoughts exactly, or try sculpting it yourself. I think it's become too easy these days to find a reason not to sculpt figures ourselves - particularly when it comes to the larger scales which you and David seem to focus on.
