Here it is. My dragon M4A3 76mm is done.
The base is made out of foam, ground work is made from hobby clay. Once that was dried I airbrushed the ground work and then added the static grass.
Once the grass had dried I then added the snow which is made from baking soda. To make it stick I watered down white glue and shot it through the airbrush this way I could control the thickness easier. Then sprinkled on the baking soda and blew off the excess.
For the mud I used pigments mixed with turpentine. I mixed the pigments mud red with dirty black to get the desired color. Then I added it to the base and to the tank to make sure the colors matched.
There is no real special mix. The more tupentine you add the more sloppy it will get. The less you added the more chuncky it gets.
Once that dried mind you that when it dries it looks dry not wet so to make it wet I used future floor and just painted it on to the ground work and on to the tank. It takes a couple of coats to make it look wet.
Next I made the trees. The trees are made from dried plants that I got at my local flower shop. Luckly the trees had great color so I didnt have to paint them. But I did have to glue them together to make the trees.
Once the trees where completed I then used the same watered down mix of white glue and the airbrush. Sprayed down the trees and sprinkled on the baking soda. Then pushed the trees into the base.
Thanks everyone for the thoughts and comments....Happy building
