My local hobby shop just started selling the ModelMaster Acrylic line.
Could someone please tell me:
1. What do you use to thin MM Acrylics?
2. What do you use to clean your airbrush? The sign on the display says Water Cleanup, and I've done that with brushes, what about airbrushing?
3. Thanks.

I use distilled water. Sometimes I add a little alcohol to get the droplets smaller, but the nozzle of my AB clogs faster that way. I use Badger's airbrush cleaning fluid (which I believe is just slightly soapy water) for cleaning after spraying. But you could probably stick with water the whole way.
If you've got some that's dried, paint thinner, turpenoid, and/or laquer thinner will usually loosen it just a bit.

Hey Charles...
1. I use plain, ordinary winshield washer fluid to thin. Buck and a half per gallon!
2. I use water, and sometimes soak the parts in window cleaner for stubborn bits.
For old, dried acrylics, good old mineral spirits are the way to go. I've also had success with oven cleaner.

Same here. I also use the Aztek airbrush cleaner. Lasts me quite a while.
