On Tamiya's Char B there are some holes in the under deck plate, are they for real?
Surely they cannot be leftover holes from battery powered days?
If not , what are they?
Are they used shell ejection ports?
The one right up the front by the transmission housing looks very dodgy, it cannot be real can it??

Depends on how you define 'real'
Tamiya religiously recorded one of Saumur's B1 bis, holes and all, but they're a museum modification that isn't apparent on the not-very-many period photos of the underside of the B1 bis.
The two flashed-over holes in the hull floor are for passing bolts through to attach to a diorama base, Tamiya has added this feature to a few models starting IIRC with the M-26.
Hope this makes sense.
