Hi All :
I just read "Half a Tiger"; even though I model in 1:35th, I was intrigued by the size of this Tiger want-a-be; so I started checking on Hyper scale models and found a 1:2 scale StuG III Ausf G. done by David M. Schultz. Sorry, no pics, Potobucket.com is temporarily off line, but here is a link for those interested in this beautiful 2,000 pound beast. http://www.hyperscale.com/features/2001/stugiiigds_1.htm

now that's a SERIOUS modeller!!!!!!!! i'd love to see those and the other smaller ones in person. i have seen R/C aircraft before in 1/2 or whatever scale it is where they have 8' or bigger wingspans and they were awe inspiring! but, that Stug is beyond belief!

How much would you like one of these?!
A nice build, although I disagree with the black muzzle brake, the tracks shouldn't be dunklegelb (or kahki as it says in the text) and it could do with a wash to bring out the details!
An impressive bit of engineering.

Well, that would certainly create a use for the third garage bay. Wonder if the wife would mind?
