i want to purchase a good soviet modern armour kit which is close to perfect ootb with a little scratch building. More mainstream plastic than aftermarket type companys ie resin conversions etc.
I have developed an inkling for soviet type stuff.
Any thoughts anyone

Well it depends on your skills a bit. but my suggestion is the good old "Tamiya T-55A", good kit, nicely to build oob and not too expensive.

Tamiya T-55, as mentioned, is your best bet.
