Anyone know to the much bally-hooed Bandai re-issue program for their classic 1/48 armour kits.
Anyone know what the latest news is?
Thanks from Canada

Fuman did a reissue of them a few years back. You can still find a lot of them floating around without some clown trying to jack up the price with its "RARE KIT" moniker. Try hunting them down on Ebay or at regional model shows. I've still got the ones I built in the early 70's. They were great little kits, non super accurate, but back then most of us didn't spend 2 months researching to find the exact tank that so and so had during the 6th hour 4th day after D-day.

I still don't.
But I would like to see some of their stuff back on the market at reasonable prices.

Many of the mid releases of the Bandai kits can still be found online and at shows at fairly reasonable prices, meaning around new Tamiya kit prices (if you consider that reasonable). The kits that have been replaced by new Tamiya kits tend to be much cheaper than those of unique Bandai subjects. The price of their Jeep used to be outrageous ($30-40) until Tamiya and Hasegawa released better Jeeps. Now their Jeep is about $10-15 online.

I saw an M4A3 105 go for $80 not too long ago. For that price you could get the HobbyBoss M4A3 and the TopGun hull and turret and still have money left over for beer!
