My current project is a Verlinden 0451 SS-Infantryman WWII. I have never painted a camouflage like this, and was wondering if it is ringed oakleaf, Eichenlaubmuster. I came up with that by comparing the photo on the box to German camo patterns in a book, but am not entirely sure about it.
Here is a link to a photo:

Is that eichenlaubmuster?
Thank you for your camo help!

It's still hard to tell from that photo. It could also be Platanenmuster or plane tree pattern, this pattern was the first and started in the 30's. The Eichenlaubmuster summer varient was issued in 1943.
Check out this link maybe it will help. http://www.kamouflage.net/camouflage/00136/en_index.php

Hey Sara
I can't quite make it out from the small picture on Verlinden's site, but that seems to be the early model smock. In which case it's probably an autumn plane tree pattern. Any chance you could shoot a few pics of the torso for us to have a closer look?
Rudi
p.s. be sure to post progress over on HF

Had a look at the boxart. It looks very much like autum plane tree camo.
