Hello ladies and gentlemen. A nice cheap diorama. Old Tamiya soldiers and Italeris Sherman. A pencil and paper for the palm and species for grass and papier mache for the mountain.

very nice. I like the creativity you used to make the palm tree. I also love the scen you are making- an ambush. Perhaps the tank should see a bit of wheathering?

Hello and thanks Jon. Both yes and no about the wethering, My thought was it came just ashore from the sea, not so dusty yet.

How about giving the Japanese figure in the middle a lunge mine instead of a rifle?

Good job and nice story.
Just a bit of weathering on the tank and give the tanker a more defensive stance and it will look better.
Remember to push stones right into the goundwork so they don't appear to float. Vegetation is good, although you could use static grass instead of parsley flakes for grass.
Keep posting mate, looking forward to seeing more.

Not a bad looking scene Jan, would like to see some additional shots from the other side. Like your idea though, of the ambush...I'd imagine that was common on those islands with all the vegetation and tunneling.
Thanks for sharing your photos. Cheers -
Tim
