Hello. I wanted to make this Priest in the desert, but unfortunatly Academy made a mix of early, late. I removed the spare link holders in the front and put a wooden box instead and tried to cover up the missing grillfans on upper deck. I found my old Verlinden drytransfers for 8th armored division middle east 1942. I don't know if it's true that the Priest could be a mix of variants.

Hi Jan,
Nice work on the kit, there is a fair bit to do to make the early version. Looks great in the pics.

Very nice, the background is a little green for the western Desert though (LOL) I imagine that desert scenery is a might scarce up your way though.

Jan-- like the work you did on the figures. The camo job is really cool.

A very good build indeed, and good camo too. But I have a question : did you add washes and pinwash to give your vehicle a well weathered look ? A pinwash would give it extra depth an make it even more beautiful.
For an overall wash you can brush on a very much thinned down burnt umber (oil paint), 95 % thinner, 5 % paint. A soft brush can do the trick. And a soft cloth can be used to remove the liquid in places. Not the whole tank, but area by area for good controll.
Pinwash : a bit thicker wash in fact, added by a fine, soft pointy brush, around nuts, bolts, in panel lines etc. It will find its way very easily.
