Nice job with this kit John, congrats on finishing your first Dragon kit. Agree with your likes/dislikes, working on a couple now, prefer the black/white line drawing instruction sheets to the color photos ones, either way have to pay close attention to assembly. Overall very pleased with them, build up some fine kits.

Thanks for sharing your photos, great job with it!

Cheers -
Tim

I didn't apply any shade of green, I first applied a Dark yellow coat followed by a wash of Yellow ochre and a light buff coat since down hull/suspension part wasn't painted at the same time as the top hull.
The interior was the tricky part, I found no references for colours.

It might be the lighting... i will try to take some pics during daytime

Thanks !

For the lower hull i remember i first painted Tamyia Khaki as base colour and for the top hull Dark Yellow.
For the weathering I used oil paints and tamyia powders mostly.

I really enjoyed it, the 234/4 is also waiting !

Thanks for the kind words!

Fantastic looking build. So, what is your opinion of Dragon? I personally would get their kits just about any time. I think they provide a lot of quality for my money.

Nice work, John, the DML 234 series are nice kits for sure. Agreed, the instructions for Dragon kits definately need to be scrutinized and then some! Still offer great bang for the buck IMO.
