I 'd like to know about the types of Merkava III that fought in the second Lebanon war in 2006.Were they upgraded to the model Mk III C ( with the xtra armor on top of their turrets ) and to model Mk III D ( similar with C and also extra armor at the sides of the turret and some improvements at the hull ) or there were also in South Lebanon some of the basic design?I am interested about the last ones as I don't like much the design of the upgraded versions.The model is part of a diorama.Thanks for your time.

post anything or even browse their posts.So does anyone knows the answer about the IDF Merks of type III in Lebanon 2006?Were all upgraded or some of them were of the type Mk III A or B ( I am not talking about the Merkava Mk IV-that's another story).
