Can anyone tell me what are external differences between M35A2 truck as offered by AFV Club and Vietnam era M35 (A1?...) trucks? I think the exhaust is different, but I'm not sure how it looked in older version.
Does anyone have some pictures that show these differences?
Thanks in advance!
Regards,
Pawel

You are right the exhaust is different. It runs along the inside right frame rail and comes out between the right rear duals. The muffler is behind the fuel tank. The forward exhaust comes out of the engine compartment behind the right front wheel and curves back under the inside of the rail. Another big difference is the front marker lights and the rear tail lights. the lights that you can find on the M-113 APC models are the type that are on the M-35 A1. These two items are the two major exterior differences.
Most of the M-35 A1's were muliti fuel vehicles. These old trucks would run on anything, gas diesel, rubbing alcahol.

In my reply on ML about the M35A1 I've forgot to tell you that you can find a few pics of this truck in the photo gallery of Wim Vink's website :

Pawel,
I suggest you try the "search" tool on this forum. The exact same question was asked - and I think it was replied in great length - in the armor forum about a year ago. I'm sure all your anwers are still there.

Thanks Jan - indeed my question was asked before. And the answer was to check the article about "Nancy" model build on Guntruck webpage. I was already pointed in this direction by someone from ML forum earlier and it is very helpful resource indeed.
