Just use some 2 part putty to sculpt some clogs and they should be perfect. Seriously, that is a good set. It would make a good scene having the little girl making eye contact with a panzer commander as he rolls into the low countries.

You can use this set, no doubt. There's nothing about these figures, I see, that couldn't be Dutch.

Like others allready said. They would be perfect. This was the traditional clothing from that time. Many people ran away from Rotterdam when it was bombed. That could be also an idea.
