I don't usually delve into WWII stuff, but these caught my eye. I was checking out the new products at PMMS and saw these. Armorscale Road Wheels with Mud Tracks for US Truck GMC. I have never seen anything like them before on WWII vehicles. Has anyone seen pics of these actually being used in WWII?

No mate, not at all. They would stand out like a dog's Niagaras in any archive photos I've seen...
Possibly post war, or Korea? Have to admit I don't know the shelf life of the GMC, but I assume beyond WWII...

Not seen them on CCKWs but I have seen them fitted to various Scammells and even a Mack NO. Both WWII timescale. As usual, can't recall sources.

There's a picture in a French book about the GMC showing a post war French Army truck fitted with similar tracks (but not exactly the same)....

Gino,
I seem to recall some pictures from Okinawa showing these in use. Didn't the Army use them as well?

For approximately $32 plus, they should throw in the girlie show with your order.
