hello friends of armorama,i just bought this academy kit a few weeks ago, http://gallery.kitmaker.net/showphoto.php/photo/266642

im not sure about the accuracies becuz this is the first time i've built sumthing out of the world war 2 era. im not that good of a modeler ,but if u guys can help me out with techniques and skills i would really appreciate it. sorry about the pict im not sure how to make it show up on the forum

Calvin-- I generally steer away from Academy. But, the few I built left me with the lasting imression to follow there assembly sequence. Dry fit then sparingly apply glue. Others will chime in on their views.

Hey Calvin, looks good. Are you going to spray it with an airbrush or brush by hand? There are alot of tutorials here and on other sites that can help you out with decals, weathering and anything else that comes up. Also there are some real "shermaholics" around who can tell you what to watch for and answer just about anything related to these tanks. I'll be interested to see how this turns out, good luck!

thanks stoney, the sherman im using a spray can first, then acrylic paint, whoops just ran out of olive drab, and my airbrush broke but i can get one off evilbay for 10 $. im going away tommorow so u wont be hearing from me for 2-3 days. thanks for the nice commentss

just weathered the sherman, the suspension isnt built yet but i thought " the hell with it!!" so i weathered it without the suspension. if ur wondering what it is its my homemade sludge wash on my sherman.
