Great job with the mud and wear. How did you do the mud?

What a surprise! I didn't expect to see my tank on the front page of Armorama. Thanks for posting it, Henk.
DJ: The mud was made using wet dirt from the garden mixed with more water and a liberal amount of white glue.

Great effort on the T-34 and good looking mud.
However, this said, I would also like to criticize. I wouldn't want to spoil your build, but your weathering looks too much "orderly" IMHO. Natural weathering is uncoordinated, chaotic, dissimilar and looks very different from man-made items. When we look at the tank however, every weathering effort looks perfectly similar and man-made. The rust stains for example, they are about the same height with too much regular placement. The worn-off winter-wash, there's one on the right fender and acrross there's another about the same shape and size on the left fender. This "man-made" look of the weathering effects kills any attempt at realism and the tank somehow looks... well, uhm a good English word at this point... synthetic? or unnatural? I hope you get my meaning, I'm lost in translation
Other than that, I really like the scratches and the peeling of paint, those look real good.

I knew real mud would work! I should try it on my next weathering project. Great build!
