Hi
For my first ever dio (usually do wingy thingiess) i'm doing a dio featuring a T-34 and the masterbox bail out set, this is current progress, i'm wonder if to add the hand to hand figure set i have in as well, but think that maybe 'less is more'
Comments please. (preferably nice ones)

Off to a good start Andy. Is it safe to assume that you're going to be portraying the T-34 crossing a trenchline? Looks like you've got your hands full, plenty of work to do! Looking forward to seeing your progress!
Cheers -

Not a trenchline, more of a ditch/fen. I've got a couple of reference pics, never done groundwork before, so it's a big task ahead.
I'll pop more posts up as i proceed.

Nice work Andy. At the moment the base looks too big but with the ground work and foliage in place it should look right.
I think you should stick with the figures you have and save the Hand to Hand set for another dio.

Andy i also agree that the base is too big compared to what you want to show. Also, I think that if you were about to get the tank nose down on the ditch and its bottom higher it could create a better dynamic as a whole,
good luck

Jean/Pat
Thanks for the advice re the base size, i'll see if i can trim it down, or start afresh, loving the idea of nose down in the ditch, will have to see how the figures work for the driver bing hauled out of the hatch, i'm not at the stage of modifying figures yet!!!.
Cheers again

Further to the advice i've reset the scene, see below.
The bloke (Ivan) dragging the driver out was too tall standing up, so i've found a set of kneelling legs and will be trying to match these to the body.
