Hi Again
I know someone has asked this question regarding 35th scale but what changes does the Revell Abrams need to represent the Aussie version?

A simple search on this site and
this tread turned up. I guess you get most of the answers here.

Only set I know of in 72 scale is CMKs Abrams equipment set (MV 064). I don't think it got a bustle rack.

Which kit are you starting with, the original Revell M1A1 or the reissued M1A2? The M1A2 is a better kit and gives the A1 parts as well.

Don't forget the seven (I think) M88A2s and the MAN prime movers to haul the heavy metal on the custom built (Drake Trailers of Brisbane) trailers. At least that's my reading on the trailers.
Cheers

I'll have to look inside my Revell M1A2 box to see what it contains as far as up-to-date details. There may be a few minor details, but nothing that couldn't be scratch built.

Hi all
Well i've started this one as i'm on my hols at the mo. Have decided to use the kits tracks for the top and bottom runs with some Leo 2 indy links for around the sprockets. Have drilled the 4 lightning holes in the drive sprockets. Need to take some photo's and learn how to upload them to this site. Most of the turret is done, need to attach rear basket and atempt to scratch the extra rear basket as well. Just 1 question, does anyone know what the small box type thing on the right hand side of the dog house is for?
