Since the weather to day was to bad to bring the fly rod to the river, I decided to build something instead.
5 hours later this was the result. Dragons 1/72 M2A3 was a pleasant surprise with good details and a very good fit. it is built straight from the box. Next stage , painting.

I found some US Army 1/72 scale soldiers in the closet, so I guess this will be a small diorama. The pics of the primed figgies shows that I have been a bit sloppy about cleaning up the mold lines, but that is easily fixed.

Hello Erik,

nice start, accurately assembled.

Looking forward for your painting.

You are so right - DML issued many pretty Bradleys in 72 but nothing of them in 35...

Base coat is on. I used Xtracrylic XA 1812 Gulf war armour over a dark brown primer. Some highlights with Tamiya Buff mixed with white. It needs some touch ups, but so far I'm pretty happy with the result. It is still some detail painting left before weathering.

Painting has been done well so far, especially the wheels.

That model and your performance have been making me think about to provide a M2 for me.

Finished. It was a nice and short build. No major problems. I added some extra equipment and a VS-17 panel for air recognition.
I will post some dio pics in the Diorama section.

Erik,

Your Bradley looks very good!

Where did you get the MRE and water boxes from?

I've been trying to find decent images for reproducing some in 1/72 scale, and I haven't found a decent image for the MRE boxes.

Thank you and keep building!
