Just looked at the Tamiya web-site, all of the 1/48 armor kits have a price increase.
You might want to stock up now, before the dealers raise their prices.
(I didn't check the other scales)

I noticed too on the 1:35 scale, more expensive than the Dragon kits with less extras...
At my LHS, the Char Bis is around 69 €, the new JS-2 is about 60 € just like the newest PIII...

The Oil price crunch. Didn't skyrocketing prices happen in the 70's to plastic kits too? (So, I hear from my dad).

So I guess this means if oil ever should drop again to $100.00 neighborhood,Tamiya will then lower the prices !!!

Personally for me the Cost benefit Ratio is leaning heavily towards DML and AFV these days.
