Some time ago Dragon was toying with a 1/35 scale Stryker. Now I see nothing about it. Did decide not to go ahead with it? Anyone got the skinny on this?
Thanks

It seemed to me at the time that they were just trying to jump on the band wagon and steal some of the lime light when Trumpeter and AFV Club were announcing their kits. I would be really suprised if you ever see it.
Personally I don't even care. The AFV Club kits are really nice and I am not sure what the Lizard would offer that would be an improvement.

I'm still hoping that somehow, Dragon will work some magic and include plastic slat armor. I really like the Stryker but only want to model one w/ the slat. The problem is that I will not spend that much money on all the PE.
Maybe by the time Dragon gets around to it, all the Strykers will have ERA instead of the slat armor.
Regards,
John

John,
I've seen Strykers in testing, with both the ERA and Slat mounted, so you may have to spend more on top of what we're already spending.

Wow, how is that thing going to fit down a street with all that extra armor on each side?
Do you know if the ERA is actually being fielded to active units or is it still in the testing stage? I thought at one point, it was approved to replace the slat armor.
I really like the way that the Stryker looks with the ERA mounted.
