If you can take some more pictures of the diorama base we will be more able to help with layout and possible scenes.
Your work so far looks excellent.

Hi Marcin,
nice one!!
Maybe you could add 2 or 3 other figures that are covering these guys. You actually wouldn't have to include any Germans like this. Just make it a little vignette, maybe add a piece of a wall to it and certainly some rubble.
Adelbertus has some nice figures and MK35 makes some Frech resistance fighters too, which could easily addapted for your purposes.

One idea very attractive, can be very original.
as a supplement can put a bracelet with the colors of the flag poland.
according to the posture that has served you any figure civilian then you just put some weapon
I have to do a project with a bullet sdkfz25l captured by the Poles, according to the size of your bullet may also include any vehicle caught

This reminds me of the movie Kanal. We rented it last year and have been thinking of a scale scene to build too.
I agree with the smaller vignette idea. Maybe another half figure helping from inside to hole.

It is great to see that you are planning to build Warsaw Uprising diorama.
Are you going to scratch build a tram?

Nice work and very good use of those figures.
Do I recognise the TM cobblestone street base?
I don't think you should go with anything as large as a tram. Maybe just add one more figure and keep the base small.

Regarding the German, he looks great but is perhaps a bit too close to the enemy (and if you are planning on a diorama rather than a vignette, you can afford the extra distance between figures). Other than the house, have you decided on anything else to include in the scene?

Maybe you should increase the distance between the German and the Polish fighters. If you use the miniart building the German could becoming right around the corner.
The Hetzer in Polish markings is a must for this diorama
Just my 2 cents.

I agree, the German is way too close. He would have had plenty of time to shoot the Poles, and would have had no reservations about doing so.

Marcin,
The guy with the pistol looks like he is wearing an Africa Corps uniform and looks a bit out of place. Have you considered changing the helmet to a civilian hat?

The use of German helmets by the Poles is well documented. Go here click on "City Sewers." Picture 7 shows a guy dressed much like the guy in shorts. Marcin is doing his homework.

In the movie Kanal, they looked to be using mix match german uniforms and weapons as well.
Very cool link, AJLaFleche.

yes, the site of the uprising is very impressive, the pictures, but the stories too.
The story about the captured German tank, with which the polish soldiers attacked the prisoners-camp in the middle of the town, could be a great story to build...

Al,
I know that you may didn't know some details about polish history, thats ok, because I don't know american history very well too:)

Yes, because I have converted figures from Afrika Korps. But in my opinion they looks good in this role, because polish insurgents were wearing in a german helmets very often. Apart from that, soldiers from polish squad called "Batalion Parasol" have had also german uniforms, but they have special insignia - they were wearing a band with the colors of the flag poland on a shoulder. A short trousers does also nothing strange - polish insurgents were wearing in a civilian clothes, short trousers too, because Warsaw Uprising was started in a hot and sunny summer... But thanks for your interests
