I found the Revell of Germany FUCHS on Evil Bay at a really great price and have been toying with the idea of doing one since '03 when we used one at a place we dubbed 'Cancer Town' near LSA Dogwood. So now that I've taken the plunge I realize that with the windshield exposed you can see inside to at least the driver compartment, and sadly this does not come with even a basic interior, plus I wanted to open the armor on the two viewing ports in the front, and the VC's hatch needs to be opened, too. It does however come with a spare tire, and a fairly nice one at that. I haven't done any pics yet as I didn't think about running a blog until I was well into the project. Sorry, I know they name streets after guys like me... Pics will follow of the mods I have already made to the exterior as soon as I get them taken and posted.

If you are deciding to show the interior you can get a rather nice interior set thew accurate armour over here in the UK.

Doc,

It'd be nice to see one of these being built. The interior really sounds good....

We got the "Royal Blow and Tell" when they first hit country. Kinda one of those, "Hey guys, it's got SIX wheels, not 8. Don't shoot it unless you know it's not a Fox." Got in one and they kicked the Over-P system on....dayyyyyuuuuuum! Litterally, open the pee hole, aim, and let'er go.....it'll "head right out da door!" Uh, , didn't try it with a #2, but they said it'd work.

I think it was a week or two prior I saw my first Stealth fighter fly over.

"Stealth" = "kick butt"...."Fox" = "kiss your butt" goodbye. Needless to say, we were a little "worried" when they started to "show 'em off."

Mike
