Hi Guys!
I spend these days my time on the MAZ from Trumpeter (long live the holidays ). The trailer is done and the next stage will be the tractor. I will keep you updated.
Cheers!

nice..job well done on the pipings and tubes. nice tray on the bed. do you have any pictures of the ramp when folded. i'm just wondering if they have any cables or chains secured to them when they're in travel mode. thanks for sharing.

Good question!
I'm not sure though on how I will display the trailer with folded or open load ramps. Most reference does not show the cable going to the load ramp, except for this one:
Other reference photos do no show any cables at all with the ramps on closed or open position. The Tankograd MAZ transporter (which I received today! ) says;

The rear of the semitrailer is dominated by the two adjustable load ramps. In travelling mode these are fixed by screw locks.

Hi Richard! Thanks for the links. I didn't knew the second one I have sofar no idea yet which kind of cargo I will add. My other project the Strela from Skiff would be optional but that would not be logical because the launcher array is not in transport mode,....
We will see
Edit!
I can be soo stupid, transport mode is still possible!
Yup, the Strela is going to be the cargo.

Hi Firecaptain,
One point easily noticeable is that the shapes of the air vent intakes on the side of the engine compartment are totally different on each version (intermediate and late)
I think there is also a different shape in the winch compartment but I'm not sure.
What else, I dunno...
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Richard

Thanks for the heads up.
I usually will buy a like kit if there are really noticeable differences, but if they are subtle, I might pass.
But then again as a Soviet armor nut I may have to buy the latest realease just to have it in the statsh!
Thanks again
