Hello Everyone,
Is there any articles on how to paint figure faces with artist oils? Hopefully one that is step by step. This is my first figure and not sure where or how to start. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Best Wishes,
Walter

Hello Again,
I am a little confused about what to use as a base paint. I have primed the figure in a dark gray primer but not sure what to use for a base color. Should I airbrush an acrylic first for the face then paint the oils or can I use oils "all the way" for the face? Sorry to be such a bother but I am a bit lost and confused.

Thank you all again for your help.

Pratice and critique are the best. Paint your stuff then post pictures asking for advice. This site,
Time Lines Forum and Planet Figure are good for getting honest feedback.
