This is some pictures of my latest build, a Dragon M 1114 Humvee. I have built some of these excellent little kits lately and they are good fun outside my normal modeling season which is in the autumn and winter. Nothing fancy, just OOB to have some decorations on the office when my leave is over. Nothing really challenging about this kit. The most difficult part was to get the tires on the rims. Brute force solved that problem.

Nice work on such a small Humvee. And that little diorama looks really nice too.

I have the very first 1/72 Humvee set Dragon released. It's a nice kit. The only thing I don't like about it is the clear plastic top and doors.

What did you use to mask off the windshield and windows? And how did you paint those windshield wipers?!

I used Tamiya masking tape. Put a piece of tape over the window, use a led pencil to mark off the area which will be masked and cut it out with a NEW #11 blade. It only takes a couple of minutes. For the wipers I used thinned Vallejo paint in a few strokes with a very thin paintbrush.
