The dio looks pretty good. However, like I said over at Aeroscale, the helicopter is not close to a USCG HH-60J. Figures look great though. Where did you get the rescue swimmer and crew chief?

Nicely executed diorama wonderful backdrop. Nice variation on subject too. There aren't too many helo dioramas and there aren't many CG based ones either.

Is the helicopter suspended on just that one steel rod? That's impressive.
Nice dio.

Yes, it does look good, but not accurate at all. The USCG does not use partially modified MH-60L Blackhawks as depicted. It should be an HH-60J Jayhawk, a totally different aircraft. The model has some HH-60J mods, but is still closer to an MH-60L Blackhawk. The biggest issue is the large (2 window) cabin door. The Jayhawks have a smaller, single window door on the right, and no door on the left, just two sliding windows. The area around the front landing gear struts has not been modified either, among other smaller items throughout. To see a fully converted 1/35 USCG MH-60J, check out mine here.
HH-60J Jayhawk:
On another forum, he explained how the helo is held up. There is a pole coming from the center peak of the cliff that goes into the left underside of the helo. With the angles of the pics, it can't be seen.
