I would like to build a M923a1 like this from photo but I don't known what color I should use to paint additional metal plates.

Hello Chris,
The truck is painted using Tamiyas NATO Green, Brown and Black. As for the panels and armor box...it was painted using Model Masters Aircraft Black, it's not a dull nor glossy color. It's more a matt color with a touch of Gray. Kind of gives the paint that bleached out look.
