I would like to know what is the color of the engine fans? Are they the primer red color or are they the metalic gray color?

This might help. In "Nuts and bolt" magezine, they have restored a Hummel in Munster panzer musseum, and it's engine fans has been painted in white/off white. I'm not saying this is correct, but I think they know what they're doing. Personally I think it's very possible that they were left in redbrown basecolour, because why would they waste paint on the engineroom.
