I am currently working on some Andrea figs in the native american genre, looking for help in determing what colors i should be using to paint with. I am using acrlyics and want only to use this media. any help from the gallery is greatly needed here for me.

In addition to that article, you have to consider what tribes you're painting. For woodland tribes of the northeast, I use Vallejo beige red with dark skintone (Valejo games line) in 2:1 ratio. For plains Indians, I use thise colors 1:1 and for Southwest tribes, I use them 1:2. I add more dark skin tone for shadows and pale flesh for highlights, ending with well diluted pale flesh for the final highlight.
