Out of curiosity, are there decent tank rider kits for late WW2 besides the Hornet kits and a couple from the Tamiya Soviet infantry set? It seems like a lot of companies have done Soviet tank riders but they all seem to be dressed in the quilted jacket.
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks,
Matt

DML's set is excellent, but they are in cold weather, post-Stalingrad uniform. Haven't seen Zvezda's.
Miniart is about to release a set in summer, pre-1943 uniform. There will be four Infantrymen and one tank crewman in the set. It is designed to go on a T-70 but with alterations and some luck I bet they'd fit on other tanks.
Minart als has a really old set of post-Stalingrad figures in warm weather gear. The flash and fit are terrible things to behold....but if you go through the effort of cleaning them up they are surprisingly good figures.
In all cases I am assuming the heads will be replaced with Hornet or Tank items.
Tank (from Russia) makes some excellent figures but they are quite expensive.

Zvezda's set, #3544, has 4 figures wearing a mixture of cold and warm weather gear.
They're not as nicely molded as DML and MiniArt's recent kits but are better looking than Tamiya's set.
Three of the figures are wearing the summer weather gymnastiorka, one of which is wearing an overcoat, another a rain cape/shelter-half.
The fourth figure is wearing a quilted winter gymnastiorka.
They all appear to be post 1942 uniforms so they wouldn't be appropriate for early war dioramas.
Cheers
