Hi
Just starting this figure, I think he will turn out okay. I am just going to paint him the tri-colour desert uniform not the digital, I know it may not be correct but I like that uniform better and it is easier

That's one of Deyun's, right? I'm not sure what kind of the uniform is that, but the box art looks like it could represent woodland MARPAT.
Looks good, looking forward to see the painting...

The vest doesn't look righ to me. I don't think I have seen a US soldier wearing a vest like that.

It exists and has been used. Most gear manufacturers have copied and evolutionized everyone elses stuff. The Armys new IOTV is nothing more than a generic copy of the Eagle plate carrier with cummerbund and shoulder pads. Even the new USMC Spartan 1 and 2 are copies of designs long dated. There's no originality out there anymore, just different colors...
Again, this figure is wearing something that Eagle,BHI,SOE,LBT, or god who knows who else made it copied it.blah,blah,blah....

Maybe some spec ops guys out there are/have worn that style, but not main-stream soldiers. The standard vests have been the IBA (very early on still the PAGST as well) and now the IOTV. You will not see a main-stream soldier wearing anything else.

I'll buy the SF part. I would change out the head if possible though. Most SF don't wear helmets. If they do, it would be the newer MICH Kevlar with shorter sides. The old Kevlar is on its way out and most main-streem units have the MICH by now as well. Spec Ops guys started wearing the MICH first too. Maybe a bare head, one w/a shemag, or a baseball cap would look good too. That would really ID him as a Spec Ops guy as well.

Good luck with your figure. It looks cool! But I would put something else on his head if thatīs possible. And is the scale not 1:15, 1:16 or 120mm? I've never heard of 150mm.

Hello Lars, 150mm is a scale that is seldom used but there are some figures out there. 54mm was the standard scale for figures and then a few companies started branching out into 75mm, 77mm, 90mm,120mm, up to 1/8,1/6,1/5,1/4 and even some 1/1 busts. There are still a few odd scales that are used by some manufacturers. Al Good luck with your figure. It looks cool! But I would put something else on his head if thatīs possible. And is the scale not 1:15, 1:16 or 120mm? I've never heard of 150mm.
