Hi guys,
would a dakota /C-47 have a disptacher/jump master for the D Day and Arnhem drops ?if so ,what uniform and parachute rig would he wear?

Hi it all depends who's army you are asking about , British wore normal Battle dress with dispatchers patch, and no shute , as to Americans I am almost certain it was normal uniform and again with dispatches patch , not certain about shute , neither jumped with the load , but stayed with aircraft . cheers ian

Today ,the dispacher/jm is RAF who has a parachute and or a safety strap
