I absolutely love these two vehicles. Finally, a company that has the guts to break out of the WW II German time warp and do stuff that "doesn't sell".
Trumpeter definitely deserve to get my hobby money!!

I am in heaven, the release of modern wheeled and tracked vehicles vehicles this year has been wonderful. If only my budget was as happy as I am. -dave h-

Totally agree. I have most of their LAV series and will be adding this one as well. And the 537 looks good as well. I just hope the LAV has more of an interior than what is shown. But if not, hopefully the AM guys will be cranking them out.

So, the KZKT-537L must more cheep than the MAZ-537 , another kit is the MAZ-537G last version without semitrailer.

Gary,
There is the Eduard pe set for the Italeri LAV-M No 35367. But I have never seen any resin interiors or sets for the drivers area.

Not much of an improvement over the Italeri LAV-M. Looks to be a copy of the Italeri kit down to the empty interior. Nobody did an interior for the Italeri kit, so I wouldn't hold your breath for this one. Better wheels and suspension, but I'd like to have seen more done with interior.
How many close-up photos did we publish showing close-ups of the intererior? That's right, none at all.

LAV-M seems an improvement of old out of stock ITALERI kit 0376.
I hope a future interest of Trumpeter in other versions of LAVs family,
LAV MEWS (Mobile Electronic Warfare System) is still waiting for (and I need AEF Design resin kit !)
regards

AEF put out a LAV-M interior. No idea how accurate, but it did exist.

Am I the only person who, before they'd read the "New tires!" comments people are making had taken a look at the photos and thought "Oh, third party resin tires!"
Are the old Dreamcatcher SCUD TEL tires going to live on forever in vinyl courtesy of Trumpeter and (probably, ironically) spawning a new generation of resin tires which are lauded as being much better than the kit tires, even if the kit tires do end up being copies of the old MAZ TEL replacements from Dreamcatcher.

Does anyone have any interior pictures of the LAV mortar carrier? Gary I was just looking at the AEF Designs LAV interior, but having been stung before buying their kits, I wouldn't waste my money either.

Well, since the subject of PE has been raised, Eduard did a set for Trumpeter's LAV-R, and there's a set for the LAV-C2 due from them in October, so there's hope yet - assuming Eduard are actually still releasing 1/35th photo etch for much longer - while new PE has been thin on the ground generally, it's been almost non-existent for 1/35th subjects, where they seem to be suffering from the existence of people like Voyager, Lion Roar and Griffon.

Yeah their prices are good, and their LAV series of vehicles are the only ones out there worth buying ATM.
Bring on the other derivatives I say. Coyote / ASLAV etc.
