Hello friends,
This build is done. It was started a couple of months ago and I opened a WIP thread about it. This Academy kit was fun to build but it was not 100 % historically correct so things had to be improved (Eduard PE parts here and there).
Even now, certain things could have been better, but I enjoyed this project a lot and of course I hope you like it now it's finished.
Almost forgot to say that I will make a small diorama for my Stuart, the tank commander is already assembled.
Pics :
Thank you for all the kind replies, the encouraging words, the advices...G.

Definitely looks like it's seen some hard and dusty miles, well done.

I followed your build, and the completed kit is wonderful. Such a fantastic job on a small, not so fancy of a kit. Your skills are very evident, and very pleasing to the eye. I hope that you post a picture with the figure.

Great job Guy !
It certainly looks like it's been running around the dusty hills, ravines and wadis of Tunisia !!
One question that's been bothering me from the start of you photo posts, where's the hull MG?
Is it going to be part of your diorama??
Otherwise, keep up the good work !!!
Cheers

Guy, you've done a fantastic job.
Now I'm sure Henk would be more than happy to receive a nice build feature from you, as would the rest of the membership.

Thank you so much for your reactions, it feels good to read I didn't mess up this kit !
Now it's time to paint some figures and to make a small diorama/vignette.
Greetz Guy.

Beautiful Build, but one item you should be aware of is the model configuration is a M-3 Hybrid rather than a M-3A1. M-3A1 Rear Hull is rounded whereas the kit rear hull is square. Just one of the accuracy issues with the Academy kit. M-3 Hybrid had the late style turret without turret basket, whereas the M-3A1 had the late style turret with a basket. Hybrid Stuarts were used in North Africa and the Pacific(Guadalcanal).
