Yes Chas, I've got two dios planned, both will have 2 to 3 figs as if they are new to the island. That's why the wading stacks are still attached.
Thanks for the interest guys!!

Ed, Nice work!
May I suggest removing the packs from the turret rear on the 3rd Tank Batt. vehicle along with the helmet and the entreching tool. Which vehicle(s) will these be? I like what you did w/ the rebar and the TWS wading stacks.

Well Chris, the reference pics I used show the packs and infantry gear all over the rear and the turret. Especially when they first came off the craft, they carried what they could.

Ed-- very nice work. What pattern are you going to apply to these vehicles? Are those the "cans" from Formation on the one vehicle?
thanks

It is nice to see some Pacific Shermans again. Your added detail is very good, and the sand bags in particular. The packs on the late turret right side might be a bit low though.
I found a nifty feature on the forums called HIDE USER.
I was going to try it on myself and go stealth, but it only works on other users.

Hi ed,
Nice work on the kits, looking good. Just a question did they mount the stacks in opposite directions and if so do you know why?
Excellent stuff.

Thanks for the feedback guys!
DJ, the 3rd btn. tank (with the improvised wading stacks) wil be straight OD with the markings and stars in white and yellow.
the 4th btn. tank (with the sandbags) will be a three color of green, red-brown, and tan.
The wading stacks are beautiful pieces from Tank Workshop, I just had to alter the lower mounting parts to coincide with my references.
Randall, the packs are a bit low and I will correct that before painting. It was getting late that night and my eyes must have been a little buggy!
Al, from what I've been able to find out, they mounted the exhaust stack backwards when they found the engines were breathing in exhaust fumes through the intake stacks. I found ref pics of both directions, so I don't know if this was a tanker's preference or a mechanic's. It doesn't appear to have been a standing order one way or the other.
Thanks guys!!

Lovely work Ed! I can see that the research you have undertaken has been put into the builds mate.
The rear deck of the 3D Btn tank looks suitably 'busy'...
One thing to note would be the texture on the 4th Btn tank sandbags? Scale wise I'd say they were a little overdone? Your call
Cheers
Brad

Ed-- thanks for the response. The vehicles are superb. I had a hell of a time putting the screens on mine, but you seem to have mastered the skill. Looks good.

I can only see one of the finished photos and it looks terrific. I have a Dragon PTO Sherman that I bought a dozer blade for. I am inspired to get back into it after seeing your great work! Well done.

Fantastic pair of shermans.
Well researched and very well executed.
