Hi All

, Can anyone give me on the what paints, colours etc they use to get realistic looking tools in 1/35 scale. any info would be great, Regards Paul

What tools do you mean? There are wooden tools, metal tools, etc. There also are many sorts of wood and metal.

I can't give you a precise color. But for the wood just use a color that looks like it could be used. Paint the part in that color and then put a wash over it with oil paints in a darker color or set little dots on it and wipe them out with a pencil. There are many metal colors. A dark aluminium color would probably be ok.

Vallejo has two "wood" colors in the program that give a decend base effect or may even be good enough "as is" (without a wash)
