Hi Marcelo

I believe this should be doable. AFAIK, AFV Club's M88A1G is a rebox of Revell's M88A1G kit...which was based on AFV Club's M88A1 kit ! Here's a TL review of Revell's kit :

At least you'll have to add some US markings.

As Frenchy says, it is the same base kit of the M88A1, with a few more pieces added for the German parts. Leave off the German-specific parts and add US markings and you will be set.

The only thing you won't get from the original AFV Club kit of the M88A1 is the etched basket for the boom, they give you another etch basket but it's the different, German pattern one.

I know the Revell of Germany M88A1G included the single track links from the AFV Club M88 and not the vinyl tracks of the AFV Club M88A1. The Revell of Germany kit also included both the M88 and the M88A1 style driver's hatches.

I don't know if AFV Club has carried these changes over from the Revell M88A1G to their own boxing of the M88A1G.

I've build the German version, I was left with tons of spare parts, the US parts, equipment, tools, hatches, machine guns, etc... the only thing missing are the US markings.

Well my Revell kit has the flexible, one piece vinyl tracks only (just double checked).

Cheers,
